“Robin” Gibson Comes Into The Rescue
Lebron James need not to score 40 points for the Cavaliers but somebody from his teammates stepped up in tough times.
If James is the Batman he just found his Robin Saturday night as the courageous Daniel Gibson scored 31 points, 19 in the fourth quarter to give the Cavaliers 98-82 victory over the Pistons and clinched the series.
Charles Barkley was right when he said that what Pistons defense on LeBron should have been used in Game 5. The Pistons doubled on Lebron in the fourth quarter everytime leaving Gibson open outside the arch line while the defensive rotation came late more often
The Cavaliers will be facing the San Antonio Spurs on the best-of-seven NBA Finals series Thursday.
